Bladerunner 2049 Review

  1. Blade Runner 2049, is a very good sequel of the iconic prequel. It explores ideologies such as love and personal identity as Ryan Gosling, played as "Officer K" takes on a  case  and ventures to find out what he really is, his history and identity. In doing so, he uncovers a darker secret.
  2. The sequel to Blade Runner really can't become a synthetic implant, it's visual appeal was revolutionary and was almost what you expect from a dystopian style film. Although i found the film hard to follow, it made sense as it went along as previous information you didnt catch onto was explained further in the film. These constant plot twists kept viewers engaged. 
  3. Blade Runner 2049 is a film that has a lot of enigmas and codes an example being whether or not Joe is  a replicant just being. Blade Runner aimed to be different and original compared to other popular dystopian sagas, such as "The Hunger Games", "divergent" series,or "Star Wars" and it achieved this to an extent. The story line includes minor easter eggs from the past which could keep past fans of the previous movie intrigued as well as having a complete new story line which interests new fans and introduces them to the franchise.

Funny Games What is the director saying about the family from the music played? Rock music is a very aggressive style of music and it is associated with being rebellious. This may imply that the family is involved in some kind of underground crime world and the way they seem on first look isnt the actual case. At first they look like a normal family going on a trip and the initial classical music made it look this way, however the rock music makes it seem much more darker. However, it could also implement the film to be a comedy as the the music is contrapuntal to the scene and doesnt match. How would you describe the use of the music? I would describe it to be quite random as at the start, calming classical was played which fit the scene and the actions of the characters.
