Posters

The first film poster is a sci-fi film where it seems that mankind will be in a conflict with aliens. The two people on the front of the cover seem to be the protagonists and they may have a love interest. This film is a sci-fi film with a sub genre of romance as suggested from the male and female on the front cover of the poster. The target audience for this film would be males that are 16+ it seems that this film would contain a lot of violence. We can infer this as the poster shows a man holding a gun with a defensive, startled expression on his face.

This is probably be a horror movie as we can infer from the name of the film. However, some element of comedy may be installed within the movie and I can tell this as the facial expressions on the characters are quite comical and not something associated with a horror film. The front 3 characters may be the protagonists as they are at the focus of the shot.

This films seems to be a film about a man who encounters various problems and would have to face them. Such as the main protagonist in the front cover will face problems such as poverty after losing his job in the factories in the background of the cover. He may face mental health issues such as depression. Having his hood up, alone in the shot and the dull lighting may portray him to be lonely. This may be targeted at people over the age of 20 as there wouldnt be a lot of violence and action, but is more dramatic and there would be a lot of emotional scenes.

This film seems to be a horror/thriller film where the main protagonist is a small boy who ventures through a hole in which he may come across different fears. Throughout the movie, he tries to overcome the fears, hence the name 'i'm not scared'. The target audience may be 16+ as they usually seek thrillers and it may not be suitable for children.

This movie can be depicted as an action/thriller movie. We can infer this as 2 of the protagonists have guns in their hands showing that violence is a theme within this film. All 4 of the protagonists have a stern facial expression which shows they may be involved in some kind of battle.

This poster can be depicted as a historical action movie based on piracy. The 3 characters at the front of the poster seem to be the protagonists, but pirates were seen as the villains in those days. This means the pirate on the left may be the antagonist and the man in the centre may have a love interest with the woman on the right.

This poster can be depicted as a romance/comedy film as the two protagonist look to have a love interest. It can also be seen as a comedy because of the smile on their faces, showing that their may be a comical side to the film. It can be depicted as a romance also because of the confetti being thrown over them which connotes to marriage.
